Fall 2008   Pittsburgh's Best Resource for Home Design and Lifestyle Needs.

Western Pennsylvania is a fantastic and diverse place to visit, vacation and camp! There are areas of this region that are quite tranquil with vast forests, farmlands, lakes and streams. Within a short driving distance from the attractions, history and cultural regions of Western Pennsylvania you can find some of the most unique and interesting places to “get back to nature!”

If you start with Pittsburgh as a central point, you can travel north to Butler County and Moraine State Park, head east to the heart of the splendid Laurel Mountains, or go due south of Pittsburgh to find incredible fishing and camping destinations around the Ohiopyle area.
So get in you car and go! These wonderful places are so close you won’t even have to worry about gas prices!

A great place to start is the Pennsylvania Campground Owners Association at www.pacamping.com. This will give you a great source for locating campgrounds throughout our wonderful state. You can conveniently search for campsites by region. The campsites listed on the next page are in the order of approximate proximity to the city of Pittsburgh and who have a website.

Enjoy the time with your family, get away for a few days, set up camp, start a fire and enjoy the spender of the great outdoors in Pennsylvania.
