Friendly flavors of Italy, France, and Spain lightly accented by exotica from the deeper Mediterranean welcome you to Casbah. The arugula salad, a Pittsburgh classic, features the perfect balance of spicy arugula, saltycrispy pancetta, earthy goat cheese, deep umami from roasted cremini mushrooms, and a touch of thyme and lemon in the warm pancetta vinaigrette. The pork chop with greens, roasted garlic cream, and a seasonally flavored risotto, is a great dish. Perfect fish dishes are accented with citrus, olives, and fresh herbs, with light preparations. Big pasta dishes like Orrechiette with Grilled Chicken, Sage and Goat Cheese and Short Rib Ravioli offer comfort well beyond the red sauce.
