Welcome to the next installment in our series of articles on Western Pennsylvania’s most talented builders and the incredible homes they’re creating. This issue’s featured builder is Londonbury Homes, Inc.

In The Shadow

When someone tells you that “no job is too big” or that they “never say no to a customer,” most of the time it’s just a cliché. When Dion McMullen of Londonbury Homes says it, however, you can bank on it. We chose to feature this incredible home just to prove it. DHL has been featuring some of Western Pennsylvania’s most talented builders for quite some time now, and Londonbury Homes ranks right up there with the best of them.

If you haven’t figured out why we chose “In the Shadow” as the title for this feature, then you must not be a fan. Here is a hint: Does this house look familiar?

“This home not only took a lot of talent to pull off, it took a lot of patience and imagination,” said Dion McMullen, owner of Londonbury Homes. “From the first time I met the owners of this most intriguing home, I knew it was going to test my abilities as a homebuilder.”

As with all of Londonbury Homes’ projects, only the finest craftsmanship, materials and ingenuity were put into turning this particular client’s dream into reality. McMullen’s group of skilled craftsman and professionals were the perfect choice to pull off this amazing creation. “The owners felt comfortable with our skills and reputation,” said McMullen. “We listened to their concerns and worked with them to make sure that every last detail was created to their liking.”

The Builder

Respect is very important to everyone at Londonbury Homes. They work hard to ensure that the homeowners are completely satisfied. “We see the industry becoming more quality-oriented and relying more on strong reputations,” said McMullen. Reputation is very important to Londonbury Homes. The homeowners, suppliers and subcontractors who work together with them respect both their philosophy of quality and also the care that they exhibit with each home they build.

Londonbury Homes takes time to meet your needs when developing your home design. They take great care in selecting the perfect location and in addressing specific details you want in your new home, all while helping you to stay within your budget. “We strive to make building your new home a highly enjoyable and ultimately rewarding experience,” said McMullen. “Londonbury Homes guarantees it.”

Londonbury Homes is dedicated to providing homeowners with superior craftsmanship and quality, both of which have contributed to the fine reputation they have forged within the building trade. “Complete satisfaction without compromise is one of our favorite mottos at Londonbury Homes,” said McMullen.

Here is another hint about this home, in case you haven’t already figured it out: This house was a recreation of the home used in a classic sci-fi TV show, which ran from 1966-1971. Still don’t know? If you haven’t figured it our by now, you never will. This issue’s featured home was inspired by the one featured in the popular TV show “Dark Shadows.”

Londonbury Homes is a proud member of the Builder’s Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh (BAMP, www.PghHomeBuilders.com). BAMP was founded in 1938 and today has more than 850 member companies.
