Cocktails at Home: Martini Madness IV

Creative and trendy, Martinis have been popularized by the media and our favorite women from “Sex and the City.”

The Martini is a true cocktail. With a level of sophistication and distinction, it is as unique as the individual who orders it.

We demand no less than the best when it comes to our Martinis. We like to know that the cocktails we order involve skill to make and have the full and undivided attention from its creator. That’s what we’ll pay most any price for this cocktail because that’s what we deserve.

If you like yours with a little sugar on the rim, straight up or on-the-rocks, just remember to order yours spiked with a little extra splash of attitude, please!

CROWN ROYAL SPECIAL RESERVE MARTINI 2 oz Crown Royal Special Reserve 1 oz Grand Mariner Shake with ice and strain into a chilled martini glass. ACID RAIN MARTINI 1.5 oz Grey Goose Vodka 1 oz Melon Liqueur .5 oz fresh squeezed Orange Juice Shake all ingredients vigorously with ice. Strain into a frozen martini glass. Garnish with a thin slice of orange. KEY LIME MARTINI 2 oz Vanilla Vodka 1 oz freshly squeezed Lime Juice 1 oz Half and Half Crushed Graham Crackers Twist of Lime Pour vodka, lime juice and half and half into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice. Shake well. Strain into a chilled martin glass rimmed with crushed graham crackers. Garnish with a twist of lime. SURFER MARTINI (Makes 2 servings) 4 oz Vodka 2 oz Malibu Coconut Rum 1 oz Banana Liqueur Pineapple Slice Combine ingredients into a shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain into 2 chilled martini glasses. Garnish with a pineapple spear. APPLE DROP MARTINI 2.5 oz Smirnoff Green Apple Vodka .5 oz Sour mix 1 dash Superfine Sugar Coat rim of martini glass with superfine sugar. Fill shaker with ice, vodka and sour mix. Shake vigorously. Strain into martini glass.

ORANGE CREAM DELIGHT MARTINI 1 oz Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur 1 oz Cream 1 oz Grand Mariner Shake ingredients and strain into a chilled martini glass. GRAPE COSMOPOLITAN 1.5 - oz Olives Grape Vodka 1 oz White Cranberry Juice or White Grape Juice .5 oz Cointeau Splash Lime Juice Fill shaker with ice and ingredients. Shake vigorously. Strain into martini glass. STRAWBERRY REDHEADED MARTINI 2 oz Smirnoff Strawberry Vodka .5 oz splash Cranberry Juice .5 oz splash Sour Mix Fill shaker with ice. Add vodka, cranberry juice and sour mix. Shake well and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a strawberry. GIN GLIMMER MARTINI 1.5 oz Tanqueray London Dry Gin .75 oz Melon Liqueur .75 oz fresh Lime Juice In a shaker, add gin, melon liqueur, fresh lime juice and ice. Shake well and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a maraschino cherry. GHOST MARTINI 1.5 oz Smirnoff Vanilla Vodka .25 oz Godiva Chocolate Liqueur .25 oz Half and Half .25 oz Simple Syrup .25 oz Shavings of White Chocolate Fill shaker with ice. Add vodka, chocolate liqueur, half and half and simple syrup. Shake well. Strain into a chilled martini glass rimmed with white chocolate. Garnish with white chocolate shavings.
