Costa uses only the finest quality craftsmanship and products in the industry. Their team of professionals is there to support you in every phase of your home’s construction.

Classic Simplicity
Welcome to the third installment in our series on the incredible homes and talented builders of Western Pennsylvania. In each issue we will focus on one of our area’s amazing homes and the team who created it. This issue’s featured builder is Jeff Costa from Costa Homebuilders, and the home we chose is a Pittsburgh classic.

Located on top of a hill in Jefferson Hills, this issue’s featured home has a fantastic view that extends to the top of the US Steel building in downtown Pittsburgh. The home is uniquely situated in an area that is far enough removed from busy areas but easily accessible to major highways, shopping and restaurants. Its great location, just south of Pittsburgh, makes a commute to Deep Creek, MD or Nemacolin Woodlands a breeze.

This two-story brick is a classic example of a great Pittsburgh home. It was designed for relaxation and enjoyment, and it offers such a good feel. Best of all, it was made with high-quality craftsmanship, while at the same time maintaining a cozy charm. Actually, “cozy” might not be the best word to use to describe this home. It is definitely not lacking square footage, but it still gives you a feeling of comfort and warmth throughout.

Attention to detail is found in every room of this 5,700 square foot home. It features four bedrooms, three and a half baths, a sunroom, a family room, a deluxe laundry room, a two car attached garage, an upstairs loft and an enviable first-floor office.

This home is part of the Signature Series at Costa Homebuilders. The Signature Series includes high quality products that are standard in all of their newly constructed homes: raised-panel maple cabinets, granite allowances for the kitchen, crown and shadow trim in certain areas, marble fireplace surround, multi-zoned heating system and numerous other quality features.

The Builder
Jeff Costa established Costa Homebuilders in 1999. His vision and commitment to quality craftsmanship are second to none. Jeff is quickly gaining the reputation as one of Pittsburgh’s finest quality homebuilders, and Costa developments are being sought after by potential homebuyers everywhere.

“We are constantly being asked by current and past clients where we are building next,” said Costa. “We have dozens of former clients who are already looking to build another new home with us. We try to make the experience exciting and as worry-free as possible, and our neighborhoods speak for themselves.”

Costa Homebuilders’ main focus is in Allegheny, Washington and Westmoreland counties, but for the right project, they’ll build just about anywhere in Western Pennsylvania.

Costa uses only the finest quality craftsmanship and products in the industry. Their team of professionals is there to support you in every phase of your home’s construction.

“It all starts at our state-of-the-art showroom,” said Costa,” where we can show potential clients the quality products used in each of the homes we build.” Costa can assist in site selection or build on your existing lot. They have built a team of highly skilled craftsmen that will build your house as if it were their own. Basically, you’ll feel comfortable with your construction design from the beginning of the project until the end.

Costa Homebuilders is a member of BAMP—the Builder’s Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh (www.bamponline.com). BAMP was founded in 1948 and today has more than 1,200 member companies. It is the only professional homebuilder’s association in the greater Pittsburgh metropolitan region (Allegheny, Beaver, Butler and Westmoreland counties) that is part of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB, www.nahb.com) and the Pennsylvania Builders Association (PBA, www.pahomes.org). BAMP provides consumers with a nationwide network of housing services and information.
