Martini [mahr-TEE-nee]
a cocktail made of gin (or vodka) with dry vermouth.
Madness [mad-nis]

Martini Madness [mahr-TEE-nee, mad-nis]
ordering and consuming various lethal liquids that look interesting in unique glasses and are often tasty.
Martinis’ without doubt are truly the most revered drinks in the history of cocktails. This true American classic has a character all itself and is constantly evolving with the “times.”
A true martini is made with Gin. Technically if you prefer Vodka to Gin, you should ask for a Vodka Martini. Other than that, there simply are no rules!
Most dictionaries define a martini as any cocktail that is made of gin or vodka and dry vermouth. While this definition is not wrong, it is somewhat outdated. While the original martini was indeed made of such simple, not so sexy ingredients, martinis have evolved substantially and are mixed with various delicacies.

DHL Chocolate Covered Bananatini
(Serves two)
Ingredients
2 oz Van Gogh Dutch Chocolate Vodka
2 oz Three Olives Vanilla Vodka
1 oz Triple Sec
1-1/2 oz Godiva Chocolate Liqueur
1 oz Creme de Banana
1/2 oz Half and Half
Chocolate Sauce
Banana (for garnish)
The mix
Remove your vodkas from the freezer.
Pour vodkas and liqueurs into a shaker 1/2 full of cracked ice.
Give shaker a good dozen shakes.
Add Half and Half and shake another dozen times.
Drizzle Chocolate Syrup in well-chilled martini glasses.
Strain into 2 well-chilled martini glasses.
Garnish with a Banana slice (if desired).
Bloody Martini
(Serves two)
Ingredients
4 oz Vodka (Regular or Pepper Flavored)
4 oz Spicy Bloody Mary Mix
1/4 tsp Horseradish
1/2 tsp Celery Salt
1/4 tsp Old Bay Seasoning
1/4 tsp Black Pepper
1/4 tsp Lemon and Lime Juice (fresh)
2 dashes Hot Pepper Sauce (your favorite)
Spicy Green Beans (for garnish)
The mix
- Remove your favorite vodka from the freezer.
- Pour vodka into a shaker 1/2 full of cracked ice.
- Give shaker a good dozen shakes.
- Add all other ingredients and shake another dozen times.
- Coat rim of well-chilled martini glass with
- Old Bay (if desired).
- Strain into 2 well-chilled martini glasses.
- Garnish with a Spicy Bean
Raspberry Long Island Icetini
(Serves two)
Ingredients
1-1/2 oz Vodka
1-1/2 oz Rum
1-1/2 oz Gin
1 oz Triple Sec
1-1/2 oz Sweet and Sour Mix
1/2 oz Chambord
1/2 oz Pepsi or Coke
Lemon and Lime Slices (for garnish)
The mix
- Fill shaker 1/2 full of cracked ice.
- Pour everything except Chambord and Cola into shaker.
- Give shaker a good dozen shakes.
- Add Chambord and Cola and shake another dozen times.
- Strain into 2 well-chilled martini glasses.
- Garnish with Lemon and Lime slice (if desired).
Caramel Green Appletini
(Serves two)
Ingredients
3 oz. Three Olives Green Apple Vodka
2 oz. Apple Schnapps
1 oz. Butterscotch Schnapps
1/2 oz Madori
1 oz Sweet and Sour
1/2 oz Triple Sec
1 oz. Half and Half
1 Green Apple (for garnish)
Caramel Sauce
The mix
- Fill shaker 1/2 full of cracked ice.
- Pour everything except Half and Half.
- Give shaker a good dozen shakes.
- Add Half and Half and shake another dozen times.
- Drizzle Caramel on inside of well-chilled martini glasses.
- Strain into 2 well-chilled martini glasses.
- Garnish with a Green Apple slice
(if desired).
