Whether your project is a hundred-dollar installation or a multi-million dollar renovation, Colucci Tile & Marble treats every job as if it were their only one. This third generation, Pittsburgh family owned business is one of the finest on the entire East Coast. In fact, Colucci Tile & Marble have been servicing the Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia and Maryland regions for over 60 years.

Rocco and Ralph Colucci, grandfather and uncle to Carl J. Hilbert, who currently owns and operates the 75 employee staffed company, founded the business in the 1940's.

"No project is too small or too large," says Hilbert. "We have the inventory and craftsmen needed to satisfy every project, and are diversified enough to have the competitive edge in the industry for every marble, tile or stone project. It is our diversification and professional staff of installers and interior designers that enables us to save time, control costs and provide top quality products and services."

When Hilbert says no job is too big, he isn't kidding. Nemacolin Woodlands Resort and Spa gave Colucci Tile & Marble the job opportunity when they wanted the finest in natural, exotic and unique flooring, countertops, vanity tops, shower stalls, wet bars, stone walls, fireplaces and tile flooring both inside and out for their resort. Nemacolin Woodlands insisted on only the finest in both quality and craftsmanship for their elite resort and that is exactly what Colucci delivered.

The five-star, world-renowned resort used 80,000 square feet of imported and domestic marble and tile for the resort's Chateau Lafayette. It was the incredible craftsmanship displayed by the Colucci staff during this project that helped Hilbert secure the contract for the 42-room Falling Rock Hotel at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort. Inspired by the masterpiece of Frank Lloyd Wright, the creation of Falling Rock demanded an "attention to every detail" execution. As Falling Rock stands to be one of the most luxurious and expensive hotels ever built in North America based on a per room cost, it only seemed logical that such a dedicated and professional business, as demonstrated by Colucci, carry out the task.

In fact, Colucci is all too familiar with large projects. Their company installed all of the ceramic and stone tile work at PNC Park, including the club's 38,000-seat baseball stadium. Their stone and ceramic tile was also installed throughout other areas in the entire park, such as the Home Plate Club Restaurant, the Suite and Club Level areas, the locker rooms and the concession stands. Both eye intriguing and uniquematerials were used for the dramatic and contrasting results.

Hilbert is sincere when he talks of the pride he and his staff takes in every project... no matter the size. "We honestly take as much pride in the unique residential projects as we do for some of the largest commercial jobs," said Hilbert.

Colucci has an inventory of more than 100 slabs of marble, granite, slate, travertine, onyx and limestone. They also have the ability to custom order and import materials from dozens of quarries all over the world. With 60 years of experience, they are accompanied by the reputation that they can find just about any material available for any job.
